DiveRecorder lives on
We are pleased to announce that during December 2025, the new team of volunteers taking over the maintenance of the DiveRecorder suite of programmes and website will migrate the existing DiveRecorder.co.uk website to a new hosting service. This is necessary as the existing service is closing down on the 31st Dec 2025.
During the transition all meets and dive sheets will be migrated across and the only disruption will be the unavailability of the site for a few days. During this migration phase there will be no on-line divesheet submission. Additionally there will be no Live Meets. We are scheduling the transfer to take place during the working week to minimise disruption to users, however this cannot be guaranteed.
The site will continue to function exactly as it does currently, with the same software and functionality as before. This will mean you can continue to use your existing setups for the next few years.
Lots of work has been done to ensure a seamless transition. Some things will change, the archival of meets into meet explorer is going through a change to make it easier and less time consuming, so this will not happen immediately, we expect to announce the archival process in the coming weeks.
During Q1 of 2026 we will release a version of DiveRecorder and supporting Apps that enable support requests to be directed to the diverecorderng team, not Malcolm.
If you have any questions about the transition or wish to offer help with the development of the next version of the desktop software then please email development@diverecorderng.co.uk.
